The United Methodist Women in the Northern Illinois Conference along with the United Methodist Women in the Illinois Great River Conference will be hosting the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women Illinois State Seminar/ Assembly. This Assembly will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Wesley United Methodist Church located at 502 E. Front Street in Bloomington. It will be from 8:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. The registration fee is $45 which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and materials.
Bishop Linda Lee will be the worship speaker. Workshops addressing the Millennium Development Goal #2 Achieve Universal Primary Education and #3 Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women will be addressed. Hotel reservations can be made at the Ramada Limited & Suites in Bloomington, IL., located at 919 Maple Hill. When calling at 309-828-0900 the group code is WFMUCW at the rate of $72.99 per day. This must be made on or before October 1, 2014.
