Dear World Federation Sisters,
“BAMBALELA (African word for Never Give Up or Hold On), CHRIST IS OUR HOPE”. This was the theme for the 12th World Assembly August 10-15, 2011 in Johannesburg, South Africa. I would like to invite you on behalf of the North America Region of the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women and the local arrangement committee to celebrate this theme with us November 1-4, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Northbrook, IL.
Attached you will find the registration and travel forms which you can print out, fill out and send along with your registration fee to our registrar Dr. Sandra Gadson.
We have tried to find a location that would not be too costly. You will be responsible for making your hotel reservations. The information is found in the registration form. When you contact the hotel, please make sure that you have the names of those who you are planning on sharing the room with and let them know that you are with our group. We are planning a wonderful event and look forward to having you in the Chicago area. In making travel arrangements, if you are flying, plan on arriving at O’Hare Airport. The hotel is about a 15 minute ride. If you send us your flight information we will do the best to provide transportation to the hotel.
