Today 26 October 2025 World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women celebrate 86 years. Lord of wisdom and strength, we pause to give thanks for the journey of this great sisterhood. Through hard work, dedication, and the spirit of teamwork, this organization has grown and thrived. WE pray and ask for your guidance as we celebrate today and move to years ahead.
We are servants of God, who have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim justice to the nations, encouraging one another and building each other up. May God’s love, grace and blessings continue to be with us as we celebrate another year of faith, fellowship and service. On this special day, we remember how far we have come, our Motto: “To know Christ and To Make Him Known.” We are reminded of the lives transformed by this organization and the seeds of faith that have been planted.

Creator God,
Rooted in your loving care,
Nurtured through your Son Jesus,
Challenged by your Holy Spirit,
We are in the world to bring peace with justice,
Reconciliation in love,
And hope for all people.
May our lives extend as the branches of our Tree of Life,
Bearing fruits of Unity and Love.
We offer praise and thanksgiving,
Through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
