Area Officers
My name is Ivonne Pereira, Chilean, 54 years old, married to Rev. Pedro Correa, pastor of the Chilean Methodist Church, two sons Claudio and Pablo and two grandsons Dario and Ramiro.
I have served the Lord since my very childhood in different ways and under different responsibilities, as a Community Social Worker undergone Theological Studies, Empowering women and involved with work of women in different areas.
It was a God given opportunity to be the Vice President in previous quinquennium of the Latin America & Caribbean Area. God’s call to her to be the Area President is a great responsibility. One that I take asking God, our Father, to fill me with His grace and the Holy Spirit guiding as I lead my team.
This text will be with me in this journey .

These words have guided my path, motivating me even more to be dedicated to the work of God with women.
My name is Leila de Jesus Barbosa, 62, married for 42 years; we have one daughter and two sons and four grandchildren. . I live in Volta Redonda, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am a Teacher and also a pianist. I have developed my ministry as pianist in my local Church. I have been the Correspondent, Minutes and Literature Secretary of the Brazilian Federation and am also responsible to handle the internet link of the Confederation. I believe my ministry together with the Area President, Ivonne Pereira Díaz, and the other women, will be used of God. There are many challenges to face; He will be with us and our work to minister to of all women.
