My Story

Deaconess Aniema Udofia is by the special grace of the Almighty God the West Africa Area Vice President of the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women.

She is a Native of Ikot Adak Okop in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, she is married to Ndifreke Udofia of Nto-Nsek in Essien Udim Local Government Area same in Akwa Ibom State all in Nigeria.

Deaconess Udofia had her Primary School education at Government Primary School, Edem Idim Okpot in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.
She attended three Secondary Schools: Western Nsit Secondary School, Ukat Aran, Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Nung Obong-Ubium all in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa ibom state and Community Secondary School Abanwan-Erei in Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State and obtained her SSCE.

She had her Ministerial training at Methodist Theological Institute Sagamu, Ogun State between 1994 and 1997 and obtained Diploma in Theology and was Commissioned into full time Pastor/Worker in the Lord’s Vineyard through Methodist Church Nigeria that same year.

Deaconess Udofia was Ordained into the Order of Deaconesses (Full Time) in Methodist Church Nigeria in 1999 at Banham Methodist Cathedral, Aggrey Road in Rivers State.

Between 2004 and 2008 she went in for a degree Course in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Planning and Management in the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and obtained her first degree in English Education BA.(Ed) in 2009 and also in 2015 she went further again for her Postgraduate studies in the Department of Educational Foundations, University of Lagos, Lagos and obtained her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling in 2016.
Since after her Theological Training, Deaconess Aniema Udofia has been Pastoring so many Churches within the Diocese of Uyo in Akwa Ibom state like: Methodist Church Nigeria Mbak Atai, MCN Ikot Ebido-Oku, MCN Ikot Ibiok-Eket, MCN Abak Road now Esuene street.

She was Assistant Pastor and Women’s work Coordinator in Methodist Church Nigeria, 29 Ekpanya Str. Uyo.

In addition to her Pastoral Work, Aniema has been a Coordinator of Women’s Work both in Local Churches, Circuits, Diocesan levels and in 2011 she was appointed by His Eminence Dr Sunday Ola. Makinde (Prelate Emeritus) to be the Conference Women’s Work Coordinator in Methodist Church Nigeria, an office she held Meritoriously and selflessly by God’s grace for five years. (2011-2016). This office afford her the opportunity to Coordinate the affairs of Women’s Fellowship, Ladies and Girls’ Fellowship, Daughters of Wesley, Coordinators of Women’s Work, Order of Deaconesses and other activities of Women’s folk within the Conference Area of Methodist Church Nigeria.

She is currently working with Methodist Church Nigeria, Ikeja Diocese in Lagos state still Coordinating Women’s Work to the glory of God.
Ministry anchors among others on Pastoring, Evangelising, Preaching, Caring and Praying. She has a deep passion for souls winning , caring especially for children, vulnerable and widows.

She has been attending seminars and workshops within and outside her Country (Nigeria) like Europe- Germany, East Africa – Kenya, West Africa -Gambia and United States of America – Houston-Texas, USA.

She has also been organizing seminars and workshops for Women, Children, sisters, singles (Ladies and Girls’ Fellowship) and Church members. She is a resort center for other leaders both men and women.

Aniema Udofia is blessed with handsome and great future leaders twin boys.
